Join Mesi Walton in a six-week workshop on Afro-Venezuelan dance. This is an opportunity for attendees to learn about the culture of Venezuela through dance. Participants will learn the fundamentals of various dances of Venezuela, as well as the significance of the country’s connection to its African heritage. The purpose of each dance as well as the location will be explained to give participants a connection to the dance, music and song.
