Rhythm N Dance has collaborated with the Gloria Eve School of the performing arts to provide west African Dance instruction to its children since October, 2015.
The Gloria Eve School of the Arts was created in 2001 under its original name, Studio 22. Its purpose is to educate artists 2 years through adult in the areas of dance, music and theatre. The School of the Arts prides itself on the personal attention artists receive and addressing their specific needs though evaluations.
Gloria Eve offers all artists a complete arts experience regardless of the program registered in. Gloria Eve’s program instills into their artists discipline, a solid technical foundation, stage presence, stage ethics, health consciousness and support in and outside of the program.
Gloria Eve was inspired by GLORIA Jackson of Gloria Jackson Dance Studio in St. Albans Queens. The founder aims to continue her legacy. It is also in memory of EVElyn Cooper. The late aunt and beautiful singer that had a tremendous impact on the founder. Together these two phenomenal women inspired The Gloria Eve School of the Arts.
Gloria Eve will have it’s season ending show entitled Aladdin Jr. on June 19th and June 25th, at York College, located in Jamaica, Queens. This show will also be the 15th annual show for the organization.
